How to Pray for Believers
(Colossians 1:3-11)

How many people in your life could be touched if you prayed in this way?

1. Be thankful for their faith and changed lives.

Col. 1:3  We give thanks to God and the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you.

2. Ask God to help them know what He wants them to do.

Col. 1;9  For this cause we also. since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to desire that ye might be filled with the knowledge of his will in all wisdom and spiritual  understanding;

3. Ask God to give them deep spiritual understanding.

4. Ask God to help them live for Him.

Col. 1;10  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

5. Ask God to give them more knowledge of Himself.

6. Ask God to give them strength for endurance.

Col. 1:11  Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

7. Ask God to fill them with joy, strength, and thankfulness.
